Question 1

How do I list an ad space?

Accepted Answer

Create a free account, then add a new ad space from Ad Spaces in your dashboard or in the Adsplatter app. Choose the type of space — a vehicle, a property, a social media account or ad walking — pick a size and add the details. Your space can be booked by advertisers once it has been verified.

Question 2

How is my ad space verified?

Accepted Answer

Vehicles and properties are verified with a short video recorded in the Adsplatter app, which guides you through each shot. Social media accounts are verified by confirming you own the account. Ad walkers are reviewed by our team and need a profile picture on their account. Verification usually takes 1–2 business days.

Question 3

How and when do I get paid?

Accepted Answer

Earnings from each campaign your space runs are added to your Adsplatter balance once they have been reviewed. When your balance reaches the minimum withdrawal amount shown in your dashboard, request a withdrawal from Payments to one of your verified payout methods. Withdrawals are typically processed within 3–5 business days.

Question 4

Can I list more than one ad space?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each vehicle, property, social media account or ad-walking service is its own ad space, with its own listing, verification and earnings.

Question 5

Do I get a say in the ads I run?

Accepted Answer

Social media briefs and ad-walker requests come to you first, and you can accept or decline each one. Vehicle and property spaces are booked by advertisers at the listed price. If an ad booked on your space concerns you, contact us and we will look into it.

Question 6

Who applies the ad to my space?

Accepted Answer

When your vehicle or property is booked, we send you the printed ad to apply yourself. If you'd rather not, book an appointment and the Adsplatter team will fit it for you.

Question 7

Do I have to share my GPS location?

Accepted Answer

No. Sharing your trips is optional and is controlled by a switch in the Adsplatter app. You are asked before anything is recorded, and you can turn it off at any time. Shared trips show advertisers where their ad has travelled, which makes your vehicle more attractive to them.

Question 8

How do I start advertising?

Accepted Answer

Create an advertiser account on the advertisers portal — you can sign up with your email address or with a social account such as Google. Advertiser accounts are separate from publisher accounts and are managed only on the portal.

Question 9

What types of ad spaces are available?

Accepted Answer

Four: vehicles (cars, vans and trucks), properties (walls, fences, gates and building faces), social media accounts, and ad walkers — people who walk an area carrying a banner or a screen, or wearing a mascot costume.

Question 10

How do I find and book a space?

Accepted Answer

Ad Spaces in the portal shows available spaces on a map that you can filter by type and size. Each space lists its size, its area and its weekly price. To protect publishers' privacy, locations are shown to within about a kilometre. Choose one of your ads, pick a space and pay by card at checkout. Social media and ad-walker bookings start with a brief or a request instead, which the creator or walker responds to.

Question 11

Can you plan a campaign for me?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you'd rather not pick spaces yourself, ask us for a quote and we'll put a campaign together for you. There is no minimum spend or long-term contract, and longer-term arrangements can be agreed privately.

Question 12

Can I advertise in several locations?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Book each space you want — in as many towns as you like — and all of your bookings are listed together under Campaigns in the portal.

Question 13

What artwork do I need?

Accepted Answer

Upload your artwork in My Ads and choose Small, Medium or Large, or enter a custom size. A Small, Medium or Large ad is produced to fit the space you book. For social media you write a brief for the creator, and for ad walkers you choose between a banner, a screen or a mascot.

Question 14

How do I track my campaign?

Accepted Answer

Campaigns in the portal lists every booking and its status. A full analytics dashboard is in development; until it arrives, contact us and we will share the coverage information we hold for your campaign.

Question 15

Is Adsplatter free to join?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Creating a publisher or an advertiser account is free. Publishers earn a share of what advertisers pay for their space, and advertisers pay only for the spaces they book.

Question 16

Can I be both a publisher and an advertiser?

Accepted Answer

Publisher and advertiser accounts are separate. Publishers use adsplatter.com and the Adsplatter app; advertisers use advertisers.adsplatter.com. If you need both, you will need an account of each kind.

Question 17

Where can I get the Adsplatter app?

Accepted Answer

The Adsplatter app for publishers is available on Google Play for Android. It is where you record verification videos and share GPS trips.

Question 18

How do I download or delete my data?

Accepted Answer

You can download a copy of your data from Settings in your dashboard at any time. To close your account and have your data deleted, follow the steps on our account deletion page.
